Choices are simple. If you strictly want a petrol car, you can have a look at New Honda City but mind you it is just a four-wheeler... what I mean it looks very good but only exteriors. It has nothing, no Compact Disc player, no fog lamps, no alloys and that no climate control and dat also in a car worth 9 lakhs, so from value for money point of view its a complete no-no.
As for Linea, it is a good car. Nice handling and amazing list of features just a little less powerful. If you can wait, then you should wait for launch of Linea T-jet having 120 horses power.

SX4 is very low on mileage. Do not expect more than 8 kmpl in Mumbai and 11 on the highway, even the steering is too heavy on the SX4, though the space is good ... Fiesta is good but low resale value after 2 years.
That’s quite a good mileage. My neighbors are getting almost same from there 1.4 petrol. and the traffic is not bad at all here in Chandigarh. Yes, the engine is great and the main reason I think for good mileage is that the car has got good low end torque and short gearing which translates to riding in higher gears in city traffic which in turns means good fuel economy in city and out on highway. The engine is hardly ever stressed to bring the mileage down.

In my honest opinion New Honda City should be bought only if u love those looks and if you are a hard Honda lover, otherwise it engine's 118hp does not really transform into more power on road, its low on equipment and mileage, comes should with tires that make it a bad handler and above all at that price its not a very honest deal from Honda. Fiesta has the capacity to seat three but the legroom is tight. It is almost next to impossible to seat 3 in fiesta's backseat. Reason-the central portion of the seat is upliftd and the rear armrest intrudes into the back even when fully folded, it s almost a strict 4

At 40 km per day running going for a diesel car would be the most economic one...At this price u can look at the Fiesta 1.6, and even the Optra MAgnum 1.6...But Fiesta 1.6 is a fantastic car...Verna is also a good one but not a drivers car but highly recommended for rear seat comfort And Linea is a good car also...So choose between the Linea and Fiesta 1.6

Go get ur facts right man...sx4 has better mileage than new city/verna petrol/fiesta 1.6....its surprising no1 corrected u till now.
Fiesta's resale isn low....its less than the Honda's NHC-zx but then right now Fiesta is cheaper to buy than the Honda so that negates it.
